Strömgårdsmosaiken, 1959

The mosaic was created for the entrance to the "Strömgården" retirement home in 1959. Montana sketched the artwork, which was then sent to Italy where the mosaic was made. When Strömgården was demolished in 2019, the mosaic was preserved, and on November 11, 2025, the Strömgården mosaic’s new public location was inaugurated; Storgatan 10 in Piteå.
